Meet the Doctors
Chiropractor Luke Sena D.C.
A New Mexico native, Dr. Sena grew up and graduated from Fort Sumner High School. After completing undergraduate training at Eastern New Mexico University he attended and graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic. During his internship programs he had the unique opportunity to work with and train many elite and semi- professional athletes in the Dallas area. From there, Dr. Sena moved to Naperville, IL to hone his skills in one of the largest and most respected family practices in the midwest. Through his training he had the opportunity to mentor under some of the greatest chiropractic and wellness doctors in North America. This expanded knowledge and experience fueled his passion to develop a unique, complete wellness model that he now teaches and implements all around the greater Chicago area. He has taught and lectured at numerous corporations, universities and other community events and organizations.
In his personal life, Dr. Sena enjoys spending time with his great friends and wonderful family. He is an avid fitness athlete and loves being outdoors and being active. He also enjoys working with young football players as he was a football player and loves to share his knowledge and passion for the sport with others. Dr. Sena is also a dedicated member of his church and loves congregating with great people who love life. In January, Dr Luke Sena and his wife, Dr Elisa Sena, welcomed their first child, Alexander Luke. Both Dr Luke and Dr Elisa come from large families so they know the importance of keeping a family together and keeping a family healthy.
Dr. Sena loves seeing people get more out of life through chiropractic. His motto is ‘Service before Self’ and you can always see him fulfilling this personal mission to improve this world for others. He looks forward to serving you and your loved ones in any way for a very long time.
Chiropractor Gerard C. Hinley D.C.
Dr. Hinley was raised in Elmhurst, IL and made his decision to become a chiropractor after his experience with a disabling injury as a college high jumper and basketball player.
Dr. Hinley was fascinated with Chiropractic’s philosophy that taught that a person could heal from within, without the use of drugs, surgery or their harmful side effects. After graduating in 1989 with his doctorate degree in chiropractic he opened LifeSource Health and Wellness. During his first few years in practice he received advanced training in the areas of family care, pediatrics as well as caring for people with acute and chronic injuries and conditions.
These experiences led to being chosen to be the Chiropractor for the National Basketball Associations network of doctors from 1994 – 1998. Dr. Hinley feels that one of the greatest accomplishments in our practice is the development of strong inter-professional relationships with health practitioners in the area. Dr. Hinley and Sena receive referrals from many local physicians and have an amazing number of physicians, nurses, dentists, podiatrists and physical therapists as patients. Everyone’s spine and nervous system are important, but it says a lot about our practice to care for so many other health care providers and their families.
Drs. Hinley and Sena are terrific with kids and they perform examinations on children of all ages. A first spinal evaluation is a necessity as some spinal issues can develop early on. We make it fun while being very thorough.
Dr. Hinley’s community involvement includes lectures on health related topics ranging from scoliosis to exercise and stress management. He is also dedicated to giving back to the community through donating school supplies to needy children, backpack safety classes as well as other projects and services.
Every year Dr. Hinley raises thousands of dollars for charities around the community and gives his time and donation to support Camp “I am me” which provides social and educational events for children injured and disfigured in fires. The doctors have a deep desire to serve community organizations and their expertise has made them a health resource for more than thirty fire safety and police departments over the past five years.
